Laminated Glass Supplies Melbourne
Laminated glass is two sheets of float glass held together by a PVB interlayer. When the laminate glass breaks, the interlayer prevents the glass from breaking into sharp and dangerous fragments. Laminated glass is an A-grade safety glass and used in areas where there is a possibility of human impact or where the glass could break and fall when broken. Laminate glass is also used for added security due to its strength. Several layers of glass laminated together can become bullet and impact resistant.
Laminated glass is commonly used for: Shopfronts, schools and public areas. Overhead / sloped roofs. Banks and secured environments. Single and double glazing.
